To SOCAL and BALDBRI, how is rolling those 35's and 37's with your 3:73 gear ratio? I have a 2010 stx 4x4 with the 4.6l and 3:73's and although it didn't turn the truck into a total dog it definitely dropped my mpg to about 15.5 or so with my 33" toyo m/t's. even with the 5.4, I would think 37's would be a bit much for a 3:73 gear ratio.

My most recent: Fox 2.5 Performance Coilovers with Remote Reservoirs, Fox 2.0 Rears, Icon UCAs, ReadyLift 3-inch rear replacement blocks resulting in about 3 inches of total lift over stock, Fred Goeske 1.5-inch billet spacers with factory FX 20-inch wheels mounted with Duratracs (LT286/60R20s), ADD Venom bumper with Rigid LEDs and PIAA lights, Full Race exhaust, Snugtop XTR topper, and other stuff.

You can't paint over chrome, it'll peel right off after a few months because the paint can't adhere properly. The chrome has to be completely removed via sandblasting or acid stripping or something else that will completely strip it to bare metal.
