Bravosix1 - question for you...

I see you just installed your lift. What was the issue with the brake lines? Just trying to learn as much as I can before I jump...

Any other issues you want to share? I'm guessing the wheels worked out.

Thanks,
djh

Drivers side brake line was way short and the passengers was barely long enough so I had some custom 7" SS lines made. They had to cut the fittings and silver sodder them with adapter lines. I read where others had simular issues and some didn't. No other real issues to note.

Ya, the tires worked out really well, hardly any wheel hanging out of the wheel wells at all. Even the local tire shop here didn't think they would work but we still have about 1.5" of space in there... not bad with the 6.18" BS. Added the dual steering stabilizer tonight as well. Here are a couple pictures - IF the rain would let up around here I'll put up some more.

Sorry for the delay in answering - been out of town and didn't see the thread until tonight.

Yeah I finished installing my lift this morning. I spent about 2hrs on the brake lines. The one on the drivers side was a pain. I don't like it so I'm going to have one made too. The one on the driver side is too long now IMO. I'm very pleased with the lift.

your truck was certainly one we looked at to figure out what we wanted... I almost went with the 33's and just a level but you see how that ended up. The weather let up here a little today and I am going to get some pictures. I love the difference with the lift. hope to have them posted tonight with a little luck and time from my little ones.

I looked at yours too Dj before for idea's, you both have great looking trucks! I just installed the Rancho 4" this weekend and even though they gave you new brake lines they were still a pain in the a$$. Took me over an hour just to get them tied up right and to make sure they would not get ripped off at full drop.

Thanks Tripyn69... I hear you about the brake lines. I was ready to run some PVC pipe about midnight last night.

Bravo, that looks great, that is a sweeeeeet looking truck! I like the way you tied up that ABS sensor clip-I clipped mine back in the fender well hole but I do not like where it is at-your way looks cleaner and much safer.

Looks nice and clean Bravosix1

Here is a link with some pics of mine with 33's. They look okay but I'll be getting 35's before long.
