once and for all pro comp or fabtech?

i would like some feed back from those who know!!!! i have a 05 f150 xlt

super crew 4x4. i want a six inch lift for either 33's or 35's by 17" or 18". i

really want 10" wide wheels but the guys at 4 wheel parts or saying 9"

because 10" will cause damage and trimming. So come on guys, tell me the

real deal please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont have ur year truck but for the most people here seem to perfer the Fabtech lift over the pro comp procomp is still a great product dont get me wrong is just that fabtech is little bit high quitaly dont go no smaller than 35's with 6in lift 37's will fit as well on stock rims or properly back space rims 10 fit fine no damage probly thing of wide tire out of wheel well and rock and stuff tearing up the paint triming may be needed with 37in tires but not 35's and if its needed its it only to the valance the plasic bumper and its only like a 1/2in off it nothing big most people cant tell it was trimed ......hope this helps

I agree. Both are good lifts, the Fabtech is just a little better. As for tires, I think 33's will look way to small with a 6 inch lift. As for wheels, the only problem I see with 10 inch wide wheels is fitment. Hardly any 10 inch wide wheels have enough backspacing. The only one I can think of that doesn't stick out way too far (for my personaly taste) is the 18x10 Mickey Thompson wheel which has 6 inches of backspacing. Personally, I think a 9 inch wheel with 5.5 or 6 inches of backspacing looks best.

I have a 6" Fabtech with 33" tires and they are to small, IMO. I plan on getting bigger tires soon but you can look at my pics to see what 33's look like with a 6" lift.

I don't have a lift but I have done the research on procomp and fabtech and I think that fabtech makes a better lift than procomp.

After a lot of research and price comparison's I am going with the fabtech lift...possibly even the fabtech coilover lift since it's only a couple more $100's then the base lift. But in all my searching and reading the fabtech seems like the more popular, and better quality lift in that price range.

Should have mine with the tires and wheels in March.
