around $650 in parts...... If you need new bearings add about 200 to that. If you need new carriers, ad about 200 more...Most shops will do it for 500-700 in labor......

Its intimidating your first time, but its not hard....
I'll pay for your kids tuition abroad. Please do so and if possible with pics of our setup as you go. I'm very interested in teaching myself this task. I'm quite handy and do all my work as it is but I know I need to do some research before tackling this extensive gear job.

DONE! We put the rear end back together in and hour and a half..... Tomarrow is alignment and new tires and rims.....

I bought 2 sets of gears, kind of on a miscommunication. My friend is going to buy the front 4.56's, but i have the backs (9.75 in 4.56 ratio) that I will sell cheap. They will not take it back. I will send it with the pinion nut and the shims you need. If you have low milage all you would need is a pinion seal (19.00 dollars at the ford dealer).. I have over 300 in the gears and min install kit. I will sell it for 150 if anyone wants a cheap start. They are yukon gears, the same I put in my truck.

More pics tomarrow once its done....

Thanks, I am pretty happy. Perfect rake IMHO, and no drive train issues, except for maybe the front driveshaft at high speeds..... Power is good witht he 4.56... if i had it over, I would go 4.88, since my rpms are so low still.... I really needed the 1.75 inches added on to my driveshaft with the extra lift!
