What leveling kit do I need ??

I have been reading about some guys saying they are to much angle on the a-arms or ball joints, so are you better of with 2" instead of the 2.5" ?? Or none at all. I really want my front end up a bit, Thanks for info.

Either one has the propensity to cause early wear of your ball joints, personally I have had no issues with my 2.5" AS kit. Really depends on how well you take care of your truck and how you drive it.

I think the ball joints are a weak point in Ford's front end regardless. But yes, I think the taller you go with a leveling kit, the shorter the lifespan. How much? Who knows. There are a lot a variables, mostly how the truck is used/abused.

If a truck spends 98% of its time on pavement then I can only assume that there shouldn't be hardly any troubles??

While this is being discussed, I also have to ask where I can even FIND levelling kits (other than Fat Bob's Garage linked over on the left hand side; I'd like to comparison shop). I've looked everywhere I could think of (4wheelparts.com, Summit, Jegs, Fabtech, Skyjacker, etc...) and haven't been able to locate anything.

Thanks for any input.

2.5" no problems here! I think autospring is the most widely used cause its cheaper than all the rest, but a quality product. Yes you need an alignment after install to correct the toe in.

I went with NCD Customs out of cali. 100 bucks shipped. I was amazed on how easy it was to put in. Drop the spring assem. Bolt on top very easliy done, done in little over 2 hrs. (ncdproducts.com)

I don't think it's possible. They have different suspensions (coil-over vs. torsion bar) and thus aren't compatible. I believe you could give your t-bars a few cranks and get the same lifting effect, albeit with some ride stiffness.

Maybe some others here will chime in to add more insight.
