Anyone installed a 6" lift?

Has anyone installed a 6" lift? How hard is it? I have a friend that is a mechanic that would help, but I cannot get in touch with the guy that was supposed to put it on for me. I have had the lift, tires, and wheels for 2 weeks but cannot do anything till the lift is put on

What kind of lift do you have?

I installed my 6" Fabtech in my carport by myself. It really wasn't hard at all just would have been a lot easier and faster with an extra set of hands.

I have a Pro Comp. I have'nt made my mind up yet, I finally talked to the guy today. He told me to call him sunday, which is the same thing he told me last week and today is the first time have talked to him. I have run out of patience I bought all this stuff and its been sitting on the floor for 2 weeks. How long did it take you? Where are you from in MS?

Where are you from? Have you called Chase at Rick's Pro Truck? If not you may want to. He will install any kit that you bring to him. He does a great job from what I hear and will charge you around $500.

I took me total of 16-18hrs. Keep in mind it was just me and I didn't have a lift, all done on my back. Plus this was my first lift to install. I live north of Kosciusko.

I've heard the same thing about getting in touch with him, but when you do he will have it done in no time.
