Rize probably does not like powdercoating their lifts cause they want everyone to know that it's a Rize lift. By painting it black, to the common person not knowing much about lifts, it looks like any other lift. That's why a lot of these lift companies paint their lifts these colors that do not mtach the undercarriage. I personally don't like it. I'd rather have my chassis all the same color. JMO.

Yeah, I know it's taking a while. I have been waiting on my leaf springs. They arrived yesterday. For some reason though, they did not press in any bushings. So now I wait for those to show up.
The lift will be installed on April 16 as a birthday present to myself.

Heres a shot of the leaf springs if anyone cares...

I got the Rize lift through Jack-it.com for 2600 shipped! I had to play a little price match game. The install of the lift, gears, alignment, driveshaft modification(rear) is going to run me $1500.

They are custom made by National Springs in CA. I waited five weeks for them! The cost was $1055 shipped. Alot of coin, but I think they are worth it.

Deaver was about the same. I started telling the folks at Deaver what I was going to tow/ haul and the price went up around $800 without shipping. They kept telling me they could take their standard 4" lift springs and re-arch them to around 5.5". F-that! I didn't mind paying the money as National Springs actually listened to me when I told them what I wanted! FYI. These are not 6" springs. They should net me around 8 inches. So the price is higher because of that. To each his own. I am happy and that is all that matters.

National Springs is a very good, and very well known shop out here in So Cal. I went tyo high school with the son of the owner...he was a bit of a celebrity (even in a high school of over 3,000 kids )

They take their custom spring builds VERY seriously.

I can't say enough how impressed I am with the people at National Springs. Bill, the gentleman that worked with me on my springs was great. It wasn't just about a sale. He really took an interest in what I was trying to achieve with my truck. That is a rare thing these days. Mad props to them!

From what I have heard from people and reputable lift shops and big name off-road warehouses....National Springs are junk...no offence or anything
