35"s will rub on anything other than stock rims with a 2.5" AS. You'll have to go bigger.

Or stick with a 33 inch tire.

You dont have to go with 6" if you didnt want to, you could always go with the 4" Rancho, I hear that is a really well put together kit. If 6" is what you are set on then there is FabTech, Superlift, Rize, CST, and BDS just to name a few. It all depends on what you are looking for and what you want to spend..

I agree with wandell. When I had my 2.5" leveling lit I rubbed just a little with my 33's but they are 13.5's wide. I also have the 951's with 4.5" bs, which makes a difference.

I'd suggest the 6 inch Fabtech, RCD or Rize lifts.

i had a 2 1\2 inch kit with 315-70-17 tires on 17x8 1\2 wheels without any rubbing at all. the backspacing on the wheels were 5 inches. i later switched to 285-70-17s because the truck felt lifeless.

Snoopy, first off the 17" wheels may not clear the brakes on your 05, check before you buy. I would stick with the 18" wheels to be safe.

my truck was a 2005 f-150 4x4 supercrew. the wheels cleared the calipers, it was close. the wheels were walker evans racing wheels with 5 inches of backspacing.
