Ok guy I got a 1997 f-150 2wd with 130000 v6, I got the bottom ball joints replaced it cost me an arm and a leg. I want to do the upper ball joints by my self I was wondering if anybody knew anything about replacing upper ball joints i.e. special tools if its a pain in the A** if you would do it at your house you know tell me what you know about replacing upper ball joints.

 

easy, all you need is basic socket and ratchet set. and a hammer.

 

Well this message came to late; however, anyone else doing this will need to get cam lobes (if not on truck already) cause it will need to be align afterwards...
