leveling kit on top of a lift...
Give me your thoughts on this… I’m talking about a 4x4 below, not 4x2.
A lot of people have (or had) leveling kits on their trucks, I did. We all know how they can cause the ball-joints to wear faster then normal, also the cv axles angle more and wear. So my question is I’m trying to decide if I want to add my 2.5” AS back on top of my 6” lift. The main reason is so I can clear 37’s. Sure I know the cons, but do you think (or maybe even know) is it more (un)-safe to do this on top of a 6” lift? If so give me some facts of why… What the difference in running just a leveling kit and running a leveling kit on top of a lift?
I’m seeing a lot of 6” and 8” lifts on here with a leveling kit added. So let me hear what you think…

to tell u the truth you should be able to put 37's on there with no problem. on my 02 f150 i have 315/70/17s. i had to cut some pieces out. i know this doesn't help you much. but my dad has an 06 f150 and has a leveling kit put on it and he is able to put 35's on it. but he already had 315/70/17s ordered for it. so you should be able to put 37's on their with no problem. i will be posting pics of my dads truck soon

The 37s should fit with minor adjustment - I have a 6" SkyJacker with 37/13.5/18 Mickey Thompson FCIIs on 18x9 DC-1 wheels. Had to trim the lower dam on the bumper and the body seam at the back of the wheel well.
Most 6" lifts level the truck (they are really 6/4 lifts, not 6" lifts), so a levelling kit will make her a tail dragger. Not to mention it probably voids your lift warranty. If you need an extra 2 or 3", I would suggest either an 8" lift or the 6 and a body lift.
