you need to buy spring compressors if you dont already have them and then jack up your truck enough so the coil is loose from its pocket. Then unbolt the shock and then you can pull out the coil. Autozone and kragen I believe will let you buy the tool then you can return it when your done and get your money back.

Is your leveling kit an above strut assembly spacer, or a poly-type coil spacer?

if hes asking about a coil, then his truck is most likely a 4x2 unless there something i dont know about. torsion bars are on 4x4's which dont have coils

The new body style 04-07 150's have coilover front suspensions whether a 4x4 or 4x2. Same type of leveling kit will work on either. Torsion bars are a thing of the past.

I guess it's a matter of cost, new springs are going to set you back more than if you went with the spacer, but if your springs are worn, you may be better off with new lift springs.

I don't know much about your year model, but don't buy a spring compressor, rent one from your auto parts store. The only other thing you should have to do is get an allignment done after the install.

I think I have the same leveling kit as you do, Was your black anodized aluminum? If so, do you notice any difference in the ride quality? Anything I should know before i put mine on? Oh yeah, i actually tried putting it on today, it took me like 7 hours just to realize that I didnt have a big enough rachet size, by then the stores were closed, grrrrr It was a nice day out to be laying on the gravel for as copuplew hours though.
