spindle lift + suspension lift?

If I already have a spindle lift, can I just put some taller shocks to raise it? What size shocks to use on a 3.5" spindle lift without lifting again?
Stupid Q time - how is a suspension lift done? Just bigger shocks?
this is on a 2wd

A spindle lift is a susopension lift. And no you cannot just add shocks to make it taller.

With spindles you can use stock length shocks as the shock location is not changes.

A taller suspension lift (like the 7.5 inch Fabtech) would have included drop down brackets to mount you suspension components to. It would also have included new coilsprings, longer shocks and new upper control arms as well as lift spindles. If you want a little more lift inexpensively, I'd suggest a set of 2 inch Daystar coilspring spacers or a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift.

I don't really want to lift more until I have the money for tires. So if I just want to replace my current shocks, just buy stock size?
