Rcd?

I'm looking at a 5 inch RCD lift for my 02 4x4 from National Tire and Wheel. I spoke to their tech guy and he said that it is a true 5 inch lift, and will leave the torsion bars in the stock position. However, for whatever reason I'm still thinking that it will require adjusting them. Anybody have this lift or know if it is a true 5 inch lift (such as Fabtech's 6 inch)?

I have the 6inch RCD for my 05 f150 and it gave me a true 6.15" over stock. Thats pretty close in my opinion. I love mine. I just need to get the rear traction bars to stop the axle wrap.

I appreciate the response, but I really need somebody with torsion bar suspension to answer. Reason I need to know is that my torsion bars are already cranked, and I want a full 5 inches over what I already have. If the kit uses the torsion bars to obtain some of the lift I'll only end up with 3 or 4 more inches.

I see what you are saying. I think you will be able to get a full 5 inches however.

Thanks Wandell. I'm going to call RCD someday soon and ask them to be sure.
