Ready Lift vs. Autospring question

I've seen a ton of posts of people lowering the rear of their trucks with Autospring leveling kits and other brands too. Does anyone ever lift the front end rather than lower the back? Anyone try a ready lift front end lift on here? My buddy just put one on his '07 2500 and it rides great and looks good too. I think I'd rather lift the front than lower the back.

Anyone have Ready Lift?

lol

I guess I misunderstood what they did all this time. I thought most people were installing rear lowering shackle kits, which is what I thought Autospring was.

No more replies needed. I am retarded.

From what I've seen, ReadyLifts products are way, way overpriced. I see them advertise prices of around $200 for leveling kits that the other manufacturers are charging $100 for.

I just added the AS 2.5" kit on my 05 screw. $89.00 for the kit, $100.00 for the install and $60.00 for the alignment. So for about $250.00 you can have a great looking level 150...... Other shops around here want $500.00 for the same thing.....

If you can change your oil, you can install the leveling kit. It is really pretty simple install, just a matter of having the right tools.

Yeah, I agree, but for me the right tools were over $100.00. The instructions are pretty much dead on with the AS kit. I watched the guy at the shop put mine on, pretty simple...but it is about having the right tools for the job.

Tools needed: 15mm wrench and deep socket, 30mm socket, 1-1/16" wrench,
17,18 & 21mm deep sockets, 11/16" wrench, floor jack, couple jack stands, 2lb hammer, torque wrench, and I highly recommend an impact for the lower strut assembly bolt, that little booger is on there tight.
