I want a 2" lift for my 2000 4x4

I just want to raise my flareside 4x4 about 2" to help the look of the new wheels and tires I just bought. What is a GOOD way to do it, and the least expensive way? I have never had a lift before, and know nothing about them. I was going to raise the front by cranking on the torsion bars, but the truck is about level to start with, so I left well enough alone. I am hoping I would not have to change shocks etc.... Thanks for any advice concerning this.

If your torsion bars are already cranked up, a body lift is your best option.

Wandell, I never touched the torsion bars, and I am the original owner of the truck. I guess I have room to crank em up? How far can I go and what about the back? Can I get at least 2" in height?

You can probably get close to two inches of lift. As for the back, just replace the OEM 2 inch lift block with a taller one. Or you can add and add-a-leaf.
