Torsion Bars...

Torsion Bars...

i just cranked my torsion bars...about 2 inches and wow what a difference my truck looks great...has anyone had any problems with doin this...?

Just keep an eye on your tires, any time you change the ride hieght there is the possibility you may need an alignment.

Watch your CV boots they rip you'll notice grease and **** all over your fender well when it happens but not too much of a big deal

When you adjust them do you jack up the front of the truck to take the weight off. Thanks

Follow the torsion bars back to the center of the truck. They end in the crossmember. You will see and adjustment cam and bolt at the end of each torsion bar. Tighten each adjustment bolt an equal number of turns and then get your alignment checked.

you don't have to jack it up, I got mine just fine with a 10" ratchet and a deep dish socket

i just got new tires and got a front end alignment at the same time...the place where they cranked my torsion told me to get it aligned...
