T-bar Crank?

Would any of you recommend a T-bar crank to level out the truck?
If so, would it be safe? Would it handle to off road driving? Will it damage anything?

Also how would I go about doing a t-bar crank? I know I need to buy a tool crank them up. Also how much do you think I should crank them? Would I need new shocks since the front will be higher? Thanks.

All you need is an 18mm wrench to crank up your torsion bars. You will need to have the front end alingned when you are finished. You will be fine cranking them up enough to level the truck.

man i got my torsion bars tightened and i love it. i have a '97 so my truck was already level so i jus did it to get a little more hieght. It does ride diff. but it isnt as bad as i thought. i dont really notice it off road, but ony over speed bumps. It jus makes it a little bumpy. I didnt want to risk me screwing up so i jus took it to a local truck accersories place and they tightened up for 10 bux. I was in and out in buot 20 min.

Would I have to get new shocks for the front end, or would stock still be fine? Also I'm running 265s right now would those tires look small if I cranked them up?

No, you don't need new shocks. 265's will look fine.

Ok thanks. I plan to crank them up next Monday. Only day when I have the free time. Also I can get my truck aligned for free as well. I have employee benefits at a Goodyear service center.

I plan on cranking them up about 2" depending on how "tight" they feel and look. 2" is enough were it wont cause any issues right? Because I read about that CV angle ware thing. Not quite sure. But if theres no issues then I'll crank them up 2" on stock tires and shocks.
