bed wobble

does anyone get the annoying bed wobble on these newer body f150's. or could it be because of my suspension and body lift? i get it mostly on the highway at about 65-70 mph. it shakes the truck as well, could this mean something else, say tires needing a re-balance? thanks guys.

I used to have it real bad between the same miles you have. I would look in my rear view and see my bed shaking like crazy. I could even feel it in my seat. I took it to get road force balanced and now it only does it maybe from 60-65 but nothing like it used to. Its a light bed shake now but atleast the seat isnt shaking anymore. Used to drive me crazy.

My truck threw a weight on one of the back tires and the truck wobbled like crazy! My buddy was driving behind me and said that he could actually see my truck doing it.

I would go get the checked out.

Bed Shake

I am really tired of the shaking, is it because they put the shocks out so far? Mine does it with every bump I hit with these fine roads here in Oregon.

take it back to your dealer. the drive shaft needs to be balanced. they will add a damper kit as a "stage I" fix. if it keeps doing it then they will go to "stage II" etc... i had the damper kit installed, and it toned the vibration down a bit. i need to take it back though. i am still not happy with it. smooth road and yes it shakes yet @ aroung 60-70 not as bad, but still pretty rough.

i highly doubt the will warranty the bed wobble when the truck has been lifted, especially body lift.

Had the same problem I also lost a weight (stick-on type) found it by looking at inside of wheel seen the sticky stuff it left behind, so only had one wheel at tire shop.
