6 inch Lift and 35's

I'm looking at putting a 6 inch suspension lift on my 05 F150 S-crew 4X4. Truck currently has 20 inch Rims (10" wide, after market) and my plan is to put 35X12.50x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers on them....any ideas on if they will fit, rub or other issues?

They will look good and fit fine. I think you could actually go a little bigger than 35's but not sure how much bigger, because i have 35's on mine with a 3inch body lift

The wheels came already on the truck but with street tires....I'm going to try and contact manufacturer and get back space info.

Can I measure it myself?

After reading what folks say about the Nitto Mud Grapplers wearing quickly I think I'm going to go with the TOYO Open Country MT 35X12.50R20 with 6inch Fabtech lift......

I can't say for sure wether they'll rub or not without knowing the backspace. There's dozens of members here running 6" lifts with 35" tires... some of them rub, some of them don't. It all depends on the backspace of the wheel.

There's a member here running 9" wide wheels with 35x12.50 BFG Mud-Terrains on his truck that only has a leveling kit and they don't rub at all, but those wheels have a 5.5" BS.

5.5" to 6" seems to be the magic number for backspace. Too much more BS and you start rubbing on the frame and too little and you start rubbing on the inner fenders, front bumper valence, and maybe rear fender corner if excessive enough.

I highly recommend BFG Mud-Terrains; I've had many sets in the past and loved them all. I've never owned Toyo MT's, but I've heard good things about them; I'd like to try a set, but I just am not willing to take the chance after having so much good luck with BFG.

I like the BFG MT's also but I don't think they come in 20's...Looks like the backspacing is about 6 inches on these wheels.

Yea see I have a set of 35x12.50 BFG Mudd Terrains on a 17x9 melo maxx 6 rim with a 3in body lift and it only rubbed a little. I had to do some minor trimming but nothing major.

Yes it's the measurment from the mounting surface of the wheel to the inboard flange of the wheel.

The lower the number, the farther the tire/wheel sticks out.
