whiplash suspention

Anybody know any thing about the whiplash 10in suspention kit for a 1997 F150. Is it tough and build well it seems cheap for ten inches of life only about 2200 $ fully loaded with all options. Duel shoks and every thing. Comments please.

whiplash has been know for half a$$ lifts, incomplete and overall, a dud in the dirt. you're better off with a fabtech, or something less extreme with some travel.

Fabtech is the way to go.

A friend had one on a cheby. He modified it alot to where he felt safe with it on the truck.

whiplash is allright actually. for the price. whos gonna want mob a big 10inch lifted truck anyways. it smore basically show no go... mob a 10inch lifted truck its prob gonan flip over. anyways. sold my f150. 4x4 it was a 2000. I have a 97 to 2003 f150 10inch whiplash kit. ill sell it for 950. have everything minus shocks let me know

Whiplash? They're still around? WOW, suprising the DA hasn't shut them down as a danger to the public.

Seriously? I heard they filed bankruptcy due to all the lawsuits filed against them. Heard insane stories of peoples truck's falling apart. Stay away from whiplash

ill second the fabtech. I almost bought the whiplash 10" kit instead of modding my engine... glad I didn't. I had no idea they were bad
