I found that with my AS 2.5" and 285/70R17s, I could BARELY get the wheel / tire back on using a floor jack. It was possible, but a PAIN! If you use a floor jack, block it up on 4x4s, and then rest the truck on jack stands. My jack stands had like 3 more clicks to go, but the floor jack just couldn't do the job...

Ditto with everyone else...it is a piece of cake!!! I did mine this weekend (I have a thread posted in the King Ranch section). Only special tools I had to purchase were the 1-1/16" wrench and 30mm socket. I had everything else. Love the way my truck is now leveled out...looks much, much better!

I concur, installation is a breeze, and I only had hand tools, no air tools. Cake.

You need to follow the instruction that come with the level kit. The first side will take longer to install then the other side that's the only advice I can give you.

I would try to get a big floor jack from a friend or some thing. If you can use a lift that would be even easier. Its not bad at all just be sure to follow the directions and when done get the alignment checked.

Yeah, I have a 3,000 or 3,500 lb capacity jack and it wouldn't lift my truck. I had to go over to a friend's house who has a 10,000 lb capacity jack (way overkill) and it was a breeze.

Had my truck's front end realigned. DEFINITELY DO THIS!!! The guy said it needed adjustment for camber, caster, and toe.

A great cheap mod...paid less than $100 for the spacers shipped (mine are powder coated), $25 for the wrench and socket at Sears, and $70 for alignment!

I guess it wasn't aligned very well from the factory then. I trust the shop I took it to.
