AS 2" question

I found that with my AS 2.5" and 285/70R17s, I could BARELY get the wheel / tire back on using a floor jack. It was possible, but a PAIN! If you use a floor jack, block it up on 4x4s, and then rest the truck on jack stands. My jack stands had like 3 more clicks to go, but the floor jack just couldn't do the job...

Ditto with everyone else...it is a piece of cake!!! I did mine this weekend (I have a thread posted in the King Ranch section). Only special tools I had to purchase were the 1-1/16" wrench and 30mm socket. I had everything else. Love the way my truck is now leveled out...looks much, much better!

Yeah, I have a 3,000 or 3,500 lb capacity jack and it wouldn't lift my truck. I had to go over to a friend's house who has a 10,000 lb capacity jack (way overkill) and it was a breeze.
Had my truck's front end realigned. DEFINITELY DO THIS!!! The guy said it needed adjustment for camber, caster, and toe.
A great cheap mod...paid less than $100 for the spacers shipped (mine are powder coated), $25 for the wrench and socket at Sears, and $70 for alignment!
