suspension or body lift

i have 2006 2wd f150 and i was thinking either the 3inch skyjacker suspension lift or the PA 3inch body lift. i need to know how difficult either one would be to install.

I would take the body lift over the 3 inch Skyjacker. 3 inches is just too much lift without dropdown brackets. The easiest option wouldl be a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

he was refering to the fact that you wanted a body lift (which are frownd apon by many) a "true suspension lift" would be a lift that was achieved by only lifting the truck with the suspension.

do not buy a skyjacker 3" lift they are very bad for your front suspension the angles of your controll arm will be horrible!!! if you really want to save money keep your 2.5" and buy a body lift. install will be around $400. which is still cheaper than buying a procomp 6" and installing it your self. and you will be sitting at about 5 1/2"s of lift.
also dont add a AAL the rear of your truck will be higher than the front and look dumb!! IMO i call it sitting "stinkbug".

Just paid $400 in labor for a body lift, no complaints. Thought about the suspension lift at triple the cost, and possible "gremlin" issues by something drastic on an AWD Expedition, but felt comfortable with the lift (and still a gremlin or two-but all worked out )

and that would be your opinion... so great get an AAL and have a horrible ride... no need to be a d*ck just what i call it... and you might notice that alot of people like it when the truck is level or higher in the front thats why they make leveling kits.
