It's possible but I doubt it. Luckily he wasn't in a Honda Ridgeline otherwise he would have definately done some serious damage.

So my old work truck was a 01 F-150 with 115k miles.

One day when it was icing up here in the north, I slid off the road, ran over 2 mailboxes and a stone wall about 2ft high, besides a giant dent in the differential, drove home to talk about it

The truck still runs fine to this day (I think it has about 145k now).

i take curbs in my lowered truck, i do it slowly so i dont bottom out, but it shouldnt hurt anything, especially if it was only your rear tire
