My truck is finally done...

I thought I would drop a quick note about my project. I got a lot of help from this forum and I greatly appreciate it. The only pic I have on here is the one in my signature so hopefully everyone can see it. It was a little nerve racking trying to put everything together and having everything fit as its supposed too. Luckily everything I bought fit like a glove and I didn't have to do anything extra as far as the lift, wheels and tires are concerned.

There has been a lot of talk about Fabtech and Pro Comp and which lift is better. I have had both now on the 04+ F150s and I can say they both ride about the same. For the money the Pro Comp is the way to go. If your going to be playing hard core hero the Fabby may be a little stouter but for me its overkill. My truck goes to the sand dunes 3x a year and climbs hills. Other than that she's a highway queen. As far as the retarded looking brace in the front that everyone complains about and looks like a 2x4 painted black, I bought the stainless skid plate from Pro Comp and it hides it perfectly. Not to mention everyone that sees my truck says the plate is really cool and asks if it came with the kit. The photo in my sig is the first trip to the dunes and it performed flawlessly.

Thanks again for everyones help and advice on this forum.

Nice ride man. Good work. You're just like me, I hit the Dunes about 3 times a year and that is the extent of my off-roading. I was just up there the last weekend in August. Only saw 3 accidents this time around and only one guy left on a stretcher. There's a lot of idiots who just don't pay attention.

I've only got a body lift on my 03 but she handled the dunes like a champ. I don't think I'll make it out there again this year but I'll be ready to go again next summer. Again, I love the the way your truck looks, great job

Wow man. Your truck is identical to one I had a couple years ago. I had a 6" fabtech on it and different rims but other than that they are the same. Pretty sweet rig.

Looks Great man.

There are a lot of Fabtech fans on this site to be sure, but that doesn't mean the Procomp lift isn't a great one! I have Procomp too and If I had it to do over, I'd buy it again.

the pro comp kit is perfectly fine, but as far as aftermarket coilovers, the fabtech ones pwn the pro comp ones.

No kidding, I told my girlfriend that about a month ago and I'm already about to order King coilovers.

So true, all I wanted was 37's until I got them. Now looking at what I want to do next... It will never stop...
