Rize 8"

Hi guys,
I need some quick suggestions. I have the opportunity to buy a 1 yr old used Rize kit from a guy who is trading his truck back in to a dealer. About how much should I be paying for this? I dont know how much they are new, so IM not sure what a used one should be going for.
Also, i see ppl that have the pro comp and FabTech and they are always talking about spacers here and add a leafs there, or 5" leveling blocks and all that stuff.
If i get the 8" Rize kit, do i still have to worry about all that other stuff?
Also, Id really like to go with 37's, bit I dont want to regear (not enough money) I do have the 5.4 Triton and it is an 04 Supercrew 4x4. I drive on the road 99% of the time and the only off roading I do is to get my 4 wheelers back through some fairly deep mud to get to my camp.(which is on trails) I DONT abuse my truck at all.
So what do you think about lift and how much a used one is worth? Do i NEED to regear? If so, I will only go with 35s because I really dont want ot do that.
I really appreciate all your help and the hundrends of bits of advice I have gotten in this forum already.

I wouldn't expect to pay anymore than 1K for this kit if in perfect condition. Suspension parts are rarely resold as they wear to a particular vehicles charactistics and when swapped out to another truck, can fatigue the parts of stress. This is unlikely with the F150 platform with it's IFS design and build, but still leaves the stigma of a "used" suspension kit for the consumer.

If you have the 3.73's you will be alright. Its not like the truck isnt going to move, it will just be a little sluggish. Regearing would definetely give it more *****, but if you don't abuse it I dont forsee a problem

if your thinking about 37's regearing is a must. thats a big tire and without gears they will put a lot of strain on the tranny and motor
