I'm the one of the few who had Kings. They were nice, on and offroad but not really worth the $1600. Getting rid of the strut extension was nice though.

Do you offroad in anything other than pure sand?

I never really beat on my truck offroad and I had scratches just from rocks flying out of my tires on the road.

Did you end up deciding to keep your truck in the end? You were thinking about selling it for awhile weren't you?
yeah im keeping it, truck goes in tonight to get the frame fixed, i just ordered a tuner (edge) and i dont need a new drive shaft or a CV! so im good to go my dads helping me out untill i get my pay check next week. ive been driving my dads stock chevy and is gets horrible gas mileage compared to my truck, i hate it i think ive been to the pump twice in the last 8 days!!!

you can probably see sratches on a black truck 10 times more then a silver one.... btw i cant believe you sold your truck! that thing was awesome!

I got my quote back today, not sure how good of a deal these guys are cutting me. Keep in mind this is in Canadian Dollars

Part Price
Rize 8" Lift 2741.00 (retail 3198)
Rear 2" Add a leaf 153.00 (retail 178)
Brake Line Kit 120.00 (retail 140.40)
Custom Front Drive Shaft 770.00 (retail 898.80)
Rize King 8" Front Coilover 1741.94 (retail 2250.00)
Rize King 8" Rear Kit 838.71 (retail 1083.33)
20" KMC Hoss Chrome 425/rim, 1700/set
37/13.50/20 Toyo MT 770/tire, 3236/set installed
Tire Pressure Sensors 100ea, 400set
4.88 Gears 350 for each front and rear 700/both
32 Wheel nuts 96
Recycling Fee 16

Total parts $12 607.00

Labor Total Labor should be 33 hours @ 98.00/hr which is 3234

Therefore the total price installed and including tax is $ 15 841

I asked him to give me a price with Bilsteins, he didn't though, really trying to push those Kings, guess I'll have to do the math myself for the price with Bilsteins. Prices seem fair enough, tires are alittle steep though. Tell me what you guys think.

Tires 3236 mounted??
HD, Highballing those tires should not be more than 2000 mounted. Is there an error somewhere?

that is steep. first off the rear kings i have seen for 750$ for the pair. the rear AAL you can pickup for like 90$. 425$ a wheel is steep, i would purchase those on your own. the tires @ 770$ each is wayyy to much. the gear change seems fair. the lug nuts should come free with the purchase of the wheels. and that recycling fee should be waived for you doing buisness with them. and the labor to install is really steep. id look elsewhere.

I paid $300 for a rear driveshaft, why are you getting a front driveshaft? The stock one is fine, if anything you need to be getting a rear driveshaft. I paid $1500 for the Kings with shipping. I don't see why you need new tire pressure sensors, you can use the ones from your truck. All you need is the new bands, they are about $40 each.

he said the prices were in "CANADIAN DOLLARS". i dont know the conversion ratio to us dollars, but you get the point.

-if its a street queen, get the bilsteins. everybody over-rates kings shocks. otherwise you will spend around $1400(US) more so they "look cooler" and no extender. the 5150's are great shocks. you can get all 4 for $370 here... http://store.topguncustomz.com/store...82&i=193574766

Some of the prices seem steep, but I haven't started to deal them down just yet. I think they are fair on the Lift price, AAL price, brakeline kit, and driveshaft and gears. The install is fair enough aswell. Shop rate around here is $100 an hour. I haven't given him any money and apparently he has already ordered me the rims, so if he won't drop his prices he'll have a set of KMC Hoss wheels on his hands haha.

Oh yeah, and I am getting a front driveshaft cause these Harley trucks are AWD and the only way they'll run this kit without vibrations is a new Front Driveshaft.

Try some of these sites. This is where i found the best deals and took thoughs prices and took of around $20-40 and called 4wheelparts and they matched them no questions asked. You need to call the 1-800 number though cause stores wont match the price well.
