Truck handles VERY resonpsive...need help..
ok, truck: 2002 f150 5.4 shortbed single cab
major mods to affect this i'm thinking:
sway bars- helwigg front and rear
beltech 3/4 lowering kit
nitroactive shocks
traction bars
going down the interstate about 65mph, it's soooo easy to turn my steering wheel and it's responsive as heck. makes it look like i'm more or less swerving going down the road. anyone have any suggestions on what to try or look? JUST had the front end aligned and rotated my tires. it's been like this since i had the front end aligned. my camber adjustment nut backed off though and i HAD to get it realigned. it's not pulling in any CERTAIN direction. when i'm stopped in park with the truck running, i can "throw" my steering wheel. any way to tighten it up?

If it happened when you got your truck aligned, they probably put in too much negative caster. Check out this short article on alignment for more info: http://www.familycar.com/Alignment.htm

Remember that the modifications you have made will make the truck more responsive. So you may have to live with what you've done. Previous comments about too much negative caster or too much toe-out are on the money. You should probably exercise some caution until you get used to your suspension mods. My bet is that it is much easier to induce oversteer (the back end coming around) than it was previously. So a little too much throttle in a corner under wet conditions could bring that rear end around; especially if you have a locking rear end.
