hey im also pretty young 17 and i know how tight money is so i would just buy a lift maybe some nice wheels and tires and some other minor things then start saving money for a nicer truck in the future.

check out 4wheelparts.com and find a lift that best suits your needs. I dont know much about the older f150s, but rancho makes nice lifts for your model year. Body lifts are cheaper than suspension lifts so i would go that route first.

Check out rockymountainsusp.com (pretty good prices) and performancelifts.com (I got my lift here good prices), An all suspension lift looks better than just a body lift and is more functional, or they double up the suspension plus a body lift, to get a little more clearance

If you do suspension go with a 6in fabtech and go to ntwonline.com for the best price $1400 plus steering stabilizer which is around $40-60 . Also with this set-up you can run a 35/12.50

Another route you could take is put a 3in bodylift and throw some 33's or 35's on your stock wheels. With just the bodylift and 35's your going to need to trim some but not much.

Try looking at tires-easy.com for tires.

haha, the guys down at 4wp are awesome. Did you talk to Jacob? Hes pretty cool. I gotta see pics of your truck to tell you what kind of rims to get. The more work you get done at 4wp, the more discounts they will give you. Everything depends on how much money you have and how much money you want to put into the truck. But, lets see some pics first.
