^^ but you have to take into account... if you go bigger then the 6" then you want bigger tires (more money) and bigger tires will need a regear (again more money)

well the site recommends 35" - 37" tires

"True wheel clearance: 35" tires with ease. 37" tires with minor trimming "

so 35" would look fine... jusst more room between fender and tire then when you have more money you can always upgrade!

I got my basic Fabtech 6" for under $1400 delivered... with the DL's I think I add like $500 or so... That Fabtech for $2500 better come with a happy ending !

You are comparing apples to oranges. That Fabtech kit you are refering to includes coilover shocks....which is a very expensive option.

Here is the basic Fabtech kit:

Procomp:

Superlift:

I made it real easy with the links and everything.

ok but its still not a $1000 difference its 600 and its probably worth every penny i have not heard anything bad from the RIZE lifts or the Fabtech lifts but if i was going to spend the money id definitely get the RIZE! just my .02

Go with what you can afford both are great kits IMO

But hey i have a 99 so i dont have to deal with this on mine

The 8" Rize you have to buy a brake line kit. $117, also have to buy shocks, $400 to $600. And 37's which are more. The fabtech comes with everything to bolt on and go. Believe me ive researched it

Thank you guys for all the info!!

my state law in wisconsin states: "No more than 9 inches of total lift, including supsension, body, and tires."

Thats why im not sure about going with a 6" lift, plus 35's. wouldnt that give me more than 9 inches over stock height?

yup.. sounds like 4" is your only real option. OR you could run the leveling kit, get 35" tires and save yourself some money for other mods.

6" suspension + 35" tires will lift your frame rail a total of 8" higher off the ground....so you can go with the 6/35 setup if you want.

Go with the 6" and if you want to go bigger later you can always do the body lift which is very cheap (around $200.00) for what you get. I already have a 6" Fabtech with 35's and plan to soon get the 3" body lift to put me at 9" .
