Leveling Kit + Installation Estimated costs?

Hey gang. Just curious what it would cost for an installation for a 2" leveling kit. I know there are some bargains out there on these kits, but some are better than others. What is the going rate for installation at your local "truck specialty" stores??

Check out ebay for leveling kits. They have a 2" and a 2.5", whatever you prefer. If you have some tools, instructions, and maybe a buddy to help you can probably do it by yourself. It would be a little project but can be done. Check out http://www.hellbentsteel.com/BB/Blac...ling-kits.html. They make kits and have instructions on the website. Sorry but this is all I know on leveling kits. Hope it helps

I have thought about tackling it myself. I called a local guy today and asked him if I bought the leveling kit (AS 2") that he would install it for $70. He did mention though that he wouldn't do it if he had to compress the springs? Is this necessary? Can someone give a rookie some advice?

He also said he would tint my front windows for me at the same time for $40...said it was normally $70. Hmmmm??? This is a reputable local store. I have seen and heard of their good work.

No, you dont have to compress the spring with the AS2 kit. The spacer just bolts right on top. $70.00 for the install is a great price, I'd take it! But remember, you have to have an alignment done very soon after having the spacers put on... I had mine installed with alignment for $140.00. Check out my gallery pics to see some AS2 details...

You can easily DIY an autospring spacer if you have the tools.

Easy to install .With the correct tools. Autospring has a pretty good step by step install instructions.

$70.00 is a great deal !

Alignment: $60 to $100 bucks

Do it yourself, its $FREE-50 and you will learn a little about the front end of your truck in the process. Dont forget that alignment.
