I have a body lift. it allows the use of taller tires so you can actually raise the frame of the truck higher off the ground with the tires. With out it they will rub.
I have had mine for a few years and it is a cheap alternative to a suspension lift. No problems with it at all. However if I would have had the cash to purchase a suspension lift I would have. At the time $150.00 VS $1500.00 was a no brainer. I do my own work so labour is not included..... If I ever find the cash for a suspension lift the body lift is coming off.
