on a budget but ready to lift

tax return + incentive payout = time to lift

A few questions on lifting and the big picture or final product.

I received the pricing from my local shop on the following;

Rize 8" = $2695
Fab-tech 6"= $1995
Pro-Comp 6"= $1595

install on everything includeing lift installation, wheels and tires and anything else I buy at that time is $1000.00

What additional cost will I have?
What maintence is to be considered?
What mileage will I get with 35" Tires

Please feel free to share insight and experience into this as this is my daily driver but only drive about 20 miles a day at the same time don't want to be getting 8 miles to a gallon either.

they are easy to install with the help of a friend. is the prices you have by the lift installed? or just parts? because if its just parts, the 6" kit is about $500 less if you shop around.

I installed mine 100% by myself - no help at all. Got it done over the period of 4 days working on it off and on.

You will need to have it aligned when the lift is done being installed.

Price without install

No. These are the prices from the shop without install. If I can install myself then I would not but it through the shop and would buy online or whereever the best price and service is? Any suggestions on cheaper place? The shop that qouted me the prices are the only ones I trust in my area.

Well if you decide to go Rize, you're gonna want to go bigger than 35's, preferably 37s or 38s. If you go with tires that big you're going to have to regear, which will be about another 1500 give or take a few hundred.

Whatever lift you go with though, you're going to find cheaper online, and you can install all of them yourself or with the help of a friend.

I would go with the 6" fabtech with dirt logic coilovers, that way if you want to go bigger in the future you can just crank the coilovers up to an 8" lift. And the kit runs you about $2200 online. That way you wouldnt have to re-gear right away.
