Am I the only member on this site with a lifted 04+ that still has 17" rims?
Don't get me wrong, my next set of wheels are going to be 20-22" with 37" tires... but I bought my first set to work. These rims and tires have been through hell and back. I would be affraid to take a set of 24's off road.
When money is more plentiful, I am going to have my "road rims" and my "work rims" .

I'm just not a fan of big rims on lifted trucks, once you get to 37's you get enough sidewall to run bigger. I like alot of sidewall on a lifted truck.
Thats just my opinion though, people should build their truck how they like it, not because somebody else says it looks good.
I wanted to run 17's but I couldn't run enough backspacing on them so had to go to 18's

I will have to almost agree, anything over 22 and a mud tire is dumb. There won't be enough sidewall. I say 22 because if you notice the 54 bogger only comes in 20... haha. I will say it anything with 22s and M/Ts is a straight up poser. Ok ok if someone says look at me with my twinktwos all dirty congrats there is more to off road than mud or sand. Try that stuff on some rocks and see if your blang blang is not scuffed up.
