4" or 6" Questions

Hey guys well i am in a dellima because i will be moving from florida to wyoming for college. But before i go i want to lift my truck but have a couple questions. I was debating on weather or not to do a 4" lift on 35's with stock rims because alot of people have problems with the Road salt during the winter. Or is that just bad luck, if so should i got to a 6" lift with after market wheels and tires.
Thanks alot
Austin

always bigger

the 4" will rub bad with 35's, the six with 35's will only rub if you hit a hole or a deep gutter at a good rate of speed.

My 4" Rancho and 35's don't rub. I'm glad I went with the 4" over the 6" lift, its the look I wanted and the fit I was going for. Its all about what you really want out of it.

you could always get the 4" with 35s and aftermarket rims, then find some cheap used 35s on craigslist to put on your stockers and run those during winter.

Wrong. It's all dependent on wheel and backspacing choice.

well I would like to use the stock 18's that are all ready on my truck because I love the look with 35" mud terrains but will those rub. And where is the best place to by some mud tires that have a good bang for your buck.

Man you have one of the best looking trucks on the site! I would keep it just like it is. But if you have to lift I would say the 4 inch.

If those 305s are still in decent shape I may be interesting in taking them off your hands and funding some of the new tires.

You seem to have PMs turned off, so what would you want for them?
