To lift or not to lift?

So after spending the last week in san diego and seeing some really sweet lifted trucks i've decided to sell the lowering kit that been hanging out in my garage and lift my truck. A friend of mine is going to hook me up with a great deal on the fabtech 7.5" long travel system for a good price, which is key since im a broke college student. The only question i have is whether or not it will look good on my truck. I have a 97 reg cab, long bed pickup with the 4.6L and the 5spd. I noticed that pretty much everyone here with a lifted truck is extended cab or supercrew. Basically i was just wondering if you guys think it would look weird with the setup i have.
any input is appreciated.

you cant post a picture from your computer files, it must be uploaded to an external internet site (like photobucket, or your f150 gallery). then paste the forum code for the pic into the img code, and it'll show up.
