Need Some Input Guys!!

So if I were trying to save a little money and go with a 4" lift instead of a 6" lift, would 35's look weird? I was thinking of going with the Rancho 4" lift, the AS leveling kit with the 35/12.50/20 Nitto Mud Grapplers. What do you guys think? Or the other option would be a 6" Pro Comp lift with the same wheel and tire setup. BTW I would be using my stock 20" wheels on the 4" lift and then I would go with a custom 20" wheel on the 6" lift.

I didn't know which forum to post this in so I also posted in the Wheels & Tires forum!

the only money youd be saving, would be not having to buy new wheels with the rancho.

other than that the rancho and basic 6in fabtech or pro comp are prolly around the same in cost

if u dont want a 6in, why would u consider putting a spacer ontop of the rancho.

just go with the 6in fabtech

do it right the 1st time

^^^^ I agree.

Just go bigger from the start and dont compromise your angles and ball joints by adding a spacer to the lift.

35's won't look weird on a 4" Rancho, they fit perfectly. I'm running 35x12.5x20 ATZ's, the stock 20's, and the Rancho. The Rancho is top quality and easy to install. But, as the others said, if you feel you need 6"... just get a 6" rather than adding a leveling kit on top of the Rancho. I have a bunch of photos on my webpage if you click the link in my sig.

So after a 6" lift the truck would be sitting dead level? I thought most everyone added a leveling kit to their lift kit. But yea your all right, I should do it right the first time!!

Most 6 inch lifts will make the truck sit level. If cost is an issue, just go with the 6 inch Pro COmp lift.

Doesn't the 4" Rancho lift also level the truck?

So I went to my local truck shop today and my buddy quoted me $1800 for the 6" Fabtech installed. Also he quoted me $2000 for a set of Toyo M/T 35/12.5/20's along with a set of Granite Alloy GA10 All Terrain 20x9's. You can see these wheels at www.tirerack.com

Thats a great price on the lift! But was the $2000 for the toyos and granite alloys or just the toyos. I got my toyos the exact same size for $1550 installed from kauffman tire.

Sorry I went back and looked at the invoice and it was $1500 for the tires installed and $800 for the wheels. He was not going to charge me for the install on the wheels and tires!
