Any idea how to get ahold of thumper so I can figure out what his exact setup was? I'm glad that these look so well with 35s!

I'm almost positive he had a 1.5" leveling kit with his 4" Rancho.

Regardless, click the following link, which is his profile, and either PM him or email him:

I also got exactly 4" of lift from my Rancho.

i have a rancho on mine as well. i dont have any updated pics in my gallery with my 35s but you can get an idea. i also got 5 1/2 inches of lift with it like Atom did,and that was measured before my 35s.

My bad man, i thought you meant overall lift, not lift before tires. Dont get all worked up bud.

Oh gee, what'da know? 4" = 4".

I'm installing my rancho in 2 weeks or so, i'll see EXACTLY how much lift it gives before tires.

im not worked up, its all good. everyone is gonna have somewhat different numbers. Copehagen has a FX4 and Colonelblue and i have XLT's, which i think is why we got more lift, because the fx4 did sit higher stock than a xlt. VTHokie got 4 inches of lift from when his truck was leveled. you gonna run 35's too mSaLL150?

Nope, 33s. I drive a lot of highway for hunting and between home and school, 35s would kill my mileage. Also need to maintain power to get up to the ranch (4500 ft elevation) and 35s would kill that also, and i dont want to regear. I think it'll still look good with 33s. We'll see.

God I need a 4 inch instead of this POS leveling kit....

mSall, what gears do you have in your truck right now (probably 3.55s?)

33's will look just as good. I had a hard time deciding between 33's and 35's myself. 05BlackF150 has 33's and 4.5" Superlift and it looks badass.

So I emailed thumper and he was more than helpful! He ran the Rancho 4" plus an 1-1/2" Autospring spacer with a 1/2" bigger block in the rear. He said "The Rancho sits a little high in the rear and I hated that look. So I added the spacer and it was a little too high in the front thus the addition of the 1/2" bigger block. The ride was pretty good since I had the adjustable Ranchos." So now I am online trying to find the best deal on an autospring spacer

When you order the rancho, you have to order front shocks as well. I would just get the rancho lift and bilstien front shocks that are adjustable 4-6" of lift...That is route i think im taking. Much better than a leveling kit, and if i ever want 35s later on i can push them up to 6" in the future.

The 4" kit i ordered comes with shocks (rs9000x's), but which bilstien shocks are you getting? I'm looking at the 5100 series that is for a 2004+ f150 with 6" of lift but it doesn't look adjustable? I guess I don't understand how the two would work and fit together. Sorry for sounding dumb, I'm just new to lifts and trying to learn how to get the most out of my lift. can you put 6" lift shocks on a 4" lift to make it taller?

Im pretty sure bilstien makes shocks for the 04+ f150 that are extendable for 4"-6" of lift. The RCD kit comes with them standard.
