very nice. why didnt you go with the complete guard? you know the one that fans out and up alittle.

black out your skid plate. use the duplicolor spray bedliner paint. its like 8 bucks a can, and it looks awesome. i have a home made skid plate and i painted it with that stuff. it really turns out great. lots of light coats though!

I didn't want to clutter up the front end and really just wanted the added lighting.

Might have to try blacking out the skid plate though

you should do it. anyone could buy that silver skid plate off the shelf. paint it black, and no one has a black skid plate.

That would look sweet black! But, I'd have it powdercoated! Be tougher, an more durable then paint!

and more expensive... you could touch-up my spray paint job for a lifetime and still not spend as much as a powder coat job. what about the craftsam "at home" powder coat kit. i read about it like a year ago. seems kinda neat. using you oven to cure truck parts.....racheal ray would have a cow!!!

I don't think powder coating is that all expensive. I've had quite a few things done. An didn't think it was that bad. I stripped my Banshee, an had the frame done for about 150. Swing Arm & A-Arms for about another 100! That's cheap!

i went to my friend who does line-x. he said the extra material would not let the parts pop back into place that easy.
