jditta: thanks. the lift rides fine no problems. my lift actually equals to 5 1/2 inches instead of the regular 4 it says. also i believe ATOMs rancho lift did as well. and as for the block im not sure i dont remember. my opinon if you have the funds do a 6 in lift with coilovers, unless all you want is the 4. cause im looking to find a way to go up more now and im not really wanting a body lift.

yeah i did get a little more than 5 inches outta my rancho. if you wanna go higher ColonelBlue throw a spacer up front or some 6" bilsteins. WowakFX4 has a rancho and a spacer and his angles aint real bad. i thought maybe if had something to do with xlt vs fx4's but either way they get the same shocks so thats not a factor. the one thing i dont like about rancho is how damn much they want for a skidplate, 375 bucks for a skid plate!!

I went and did some re-measuring last night and suprisingly enough I was wrong. I was measuring the wrong rear block, and it is 5" (I was measuring the bracket at the end of the leaf spring).

Also, even though there was a 1.5" drop off of parallel on the LCA which corosponded with the Bottom of the coil spring being 1.5" above where the outer and inner tubes of the shock were, my fenders are at exactly at 45".

So... I was totaly out to lunch on my measurements and assumptions.

It is a straight 6" Fabtech lift.

Thanks for helping me out

looks great, but how often do you have to replace ball joints/tie rods/etc.? Does it ever go off road?

The truck had 80,000 k on it when I put the lift on, I replaced the upper controls, lower ball joints, tie rod ends and sway bar end links with new factory pieces (also installed zirk fittings into all them) So I let you know when they fail?. Not too concerned though!, I do all the work myself and ball joints are a breeze.....

Other then that the kit has only been on for a few months I've moderately offroaded it a couple of times and it performs for what it is... "A truck with a lift kit" I'm sure its just a matter of time before something snaps???

80,000 on an 07? Damn, that's a lot of miles for a new truck. Sounds good with the front end stuff. I just keep hearing about how 38's is the max you'd want to run on an IFS truck, and how those big tires wear out parts a lot faster, but those 41s do look nasty.

my bad, I was looking at the picture quoted by Atom. I saw Atom's 07 by his name and assumed that's what the truck was
