A doubler will probably be in my future to push over 100:1 as well.

How are you getting 500:1? regeared tranny, doubler, t-case, axles?

The over 500 crawl was just acheived, still got some kinks to work out (fillin in the new holes and what not) and it should be up and running soon. Plan to take it out by the end of the month and see what it can do.

We went with a one-off doubler type deal for the Samurai. Using the TRacker transmission (stock gearing, 1st: 3.5:1) a tracker/kick T-case (re-geared with 4.25:1) mated to a Samurai T-case (6.5:1) and then down to yota axles (5.29:1)

Final ratio of 511.47 to be exact ! Thing is a CRAWLER !!! love it.

Here is the doubler I helped him make/put in:

The doubler was actually basically fabbed up and made to work by Scott over at Rock4xfabrication.com Great guy and even better products.

Few guys in my club have made doublers out of manual bw1354 and have a blast with them.

If I run that 302 in the sploder i'll prbably run a regared d20.

Would a Dana 300 be something you could do ? I love those T-cases. Lots of options and mods for em out there. Very stout.

Badlands in Attica Indiana is just a couple hours away so that's home base. Been there more as a winch bitch than a driver I think hahaha.

I just posted a build thread in other models, have a look.

Hey guys, im finally starting to get stuff together for this.

I should be getting my money in Febuary. The plans have changed slightly.

I destroyed my front suspension... i havent checked what i broke but theres definitely broke. I cant even drive it.

I want my truck back on the road. So im taking a bullet and puttin a D44 HP in the front and leaving the 8.8 for now.

As of right now, the guy thats gonna be doing most of it is charging me $500 Labor and whatever the parts comes to. Im bringing the built D44. Its stuffed with 4.88's and a selectable lockers. He said he could easily do the swap for a grand plus the axle.

This isnt exactly what i wanted but its gonna get me started. After i get this done it wont be anything to upgrade to d60's when i can.

Im gonna continue to run the 36's untill they are gone i know a built 44 will take that abuse.

I really want to run SUPERLIFT 12" springs but i dont know if i really want that much lift, on just 36's. Joe said he could give me a few places and help me get a GOOD set of used spings. Im thinking maybe 10" Springs. I really want enough lift for 44's but will only run 38's the other room will be flex room when i get back to trail rides.

darn D44HD isnt available anymore, so if i cant find one.

Then im gonna have to eat the cost and go D60s Front and rear. Good thing about the D60's is they already have 5.13's in them.

Only problem is that the 5.13's arent gonna run very well with 36's so ill be looking for new wheels and tires

I also found a set of D60's with wheels and tires for 1800 but they are up in NY. The guy makes trips to tampa a few times a month so im gonna see about getting those.
