I agree. I have Explorer Pro Comp 64201 Coil Spring Spacers on a 2WD, because I just wanted a little extra room. But on a 4WD, I would go with the Coil Overs or adjustable shocks.

after much reading of the info on this fantastic site , i have decided to purchase the
2.5" AS leveling kit.
I would like to know if any of you guys know the alignment specs i will need after i have the kit installed.
Also what tire size will i need to put on an 18" rim to get 31-32" tires.
any information would be greatly appreciated,

I also am looking for the 2" AS spacer but I cant seem to find it anywhere now. Since a full lift is not in the budget for a while this is what im gonna do myself. Ive measured and think the 2" is my best route, can someone shoot me link to get one???

I have a truxxx leveling kit(worst thing i ever did)which brought the truck up 2.5 inches and i got 20"s with a 33 under there just fine.

Now if your looking to do a 31 or a 32 the tire size is 31x12.50r18 the tire size depends on the backspace of the rim so just pick out your rim with someone who knows what tire fits the specific rim, not unless you know just helps to talk to someone.

Im going up
6''s now so PM me if your interested in 33" tires.

I thought it was closer to 31". I have 275/65/18 stock BFG All Terrains and I went out once and took a rough measurment, I thought it was 31 but maybe I'm wrong. I just remember saying to myself, "wow, a 33 would be a decent increase over stock".

I go off of a tire calculator... I also have the BFG AT's but have never taken a tape to them. They are supposed to be 32.1".

Then you have the only set around. BFG ATs dont come in that size. Rugged Trails maybe, they were stock.

yeah I was wrong they're rugged trails... and I dont like them. But you missed the point of my post: 275-65-18 is supposed to be a 32.1" tire and I actually found a different tire calculator that had them at 31.9"
