lol.. your best bet would be to buy the stage 1 on ebay for $1200 from liftkitkings on ebay and then getting someone to install it locally.. I had mine installed for $500, and bought it from $1100 from suspensionmax on ebay (I don't think they carry the ProComp any more?)

So I payed $1700 OTD when all was said and done.. you should look at spending $2000 tops..

yep, its the 4wd kit tho, here's the link.. try e-mailing them an offer of $1200 shipped to your door and see what they say.. either way, it looks like the price is $1365 as is.. but that's still not bad.. it wouldn't hurt to try to haggle them.. $700 is a very fair price for install, most places around here were trying to charge $900-1000

personally id go the stg 2 route. new coilovers and dont have spacers. you can get them pretty cheap now a days. a lot cheaper than the 2000 i paid for mine. ive seen them on ebay for as low as 1300. average install is 500, so thats 1900 otd depending on tax and what not.

Cheapest I ever saw a stage II was $1965 September '07. Since then I have seen it as high as $2500 which is where I think its sitting about right now. I think I paid $2250 for mine.

Stage I's I have seen $1100-1600. You shouldn't pay more than 1400-1500 for that lift. Anything more and the seller is gouging you.

Don't stack your blocks. I went to leaf spring shop and had them professionally insert a leaf and re-arch the springs to get the truck to sit level. I only have the block that came with the lift installed (took out the factory one). Installed, it cost me $300 and was worth it.

Shep: how is the ride after the re-arch ?? Is it a lot stiffer ? or barely noticable ??
