I have a 07 f150 xl with the 17 in rims. I'm looking to put bfg's all terrains on but how big can I go? And/or should I put the 2'' lift on the front to go even bigger.
The tire store is telling me 265/70/17 which is about 31.5"
thanks
4x4 or 4x2? On a 4x4 you can fit a 285/70-17 or 305/65-17 at stock height or 35x12.50's with a leveling kit using your oem wheels. On a 4x2, I'd recommed a 265/70-17 at stock height and up to a 305/65-17 with a leveling kit.
With the 2" leveling kit, you could go right up to 33X12.50/17. I ran a 32" tire on OEM wheels with my kit and it was just fine also. With a 6" lift, you can go up to 35X12.50/17. I'm on 315/70/17 on a 17X9 wheel with 4.625" of backspacing.
