I know it's confusing. So much depends on the width and backspacing of the wheel. This is made confusing when the same wheel (like Moto Metals) are offered with different backspacing. Also, "fits" means different things to different people. To some it means only minor rubbing. To others, it means 1/2 inch of clearance all around the tire through the full suspension cycle and turning radius. If you like one of the above members setups, make sure you are following their exact setup.

The Moto's have to much backspacing I think? I think it is dumb to cram 35" with leveling kit you turn downhill and scrub bad Paw Paw has A/T's not M/T's. If you do any offroading you will jack up you truck is to tight of a fit. Why not 33" and M/T's and nice rims? Do what you like, but the first time you pull into a parking lot where your friends are an scrub you will look like a scrub. Just my .02

Canadianedge, Are you considering Chrome Moto Metal 951s? If so dont unless you want to keep getting them replaced under warrenty. I have 5000 miles on mine, my truck has been in storage most of this year and has never seen the dirt. I have a few miles in the snow, but not much. Most of my driving is on the highway on a clear day. They pit like crazy... My local tire shop said since Moto Metal was bought by American Racing, that the quality has gone down. Im getting mine replaced. If they do it again, I will be fighting to get my money back. Just a heads up that if you really want these wheels, get them through a local shop that can worry about the replacment process for you. Maybe the black will hold up better, but Im not sure i would like them on my truck?

I was thinking chrome as well. I live in Canada, so we get hammered with snow and salty roads in the winter. I guess I better look around at other wheel choices. thanks

I'm confused now because some say it wont work and then I see members with this setup on their trucks and they dont have any issues,
i have a 3in body lift aswell just fyi, either way, with or with out the body lift, they still rubbed on the control arm in reverse, or making sharp turns, into parking spots and etc. i had the 6.18 bs, and if i were you id go with the 5.71bs Hill2107 has. also i would stay away from an M/T tire with large side lugs

but it is doable

I dont see where it is confusing.

Just a leveling kit? Stock wheels or aftermarket wheels with identical stock specs fit 35s. Any aftermarket wheel will pretty much fit 33s.

Am I missing something?

That's the general rule. But as they say, there's an exception to every rule.

Aftermarket 20's will fit under the truck with 33's and an AS. I mean 35's might be pushin it a little bit.

[QUOTE=canadianedge;3431407]So today I stopped by these guys http://www.national4wd.com/index.php . They are a local offroad shop in Burlington Ontario where I live. I'm in the market for a AS 2.5" and 20 Moto Metals with some Open Country MT's 35". I know this combo can be done since some members have this setup on their trucks.

Kal Tire is a dealer for Moto Metal. Go to their site and look up Canadian dealers.
http://www.motometalcustomalloys.com/

You are only 3 hours from Michigan. Find a US shop and drive to Michigan and have it done there. If you do decide to order in the US and deliver it to Canada make sure that you are aware of all the costs; Freight, customs clearance brokerage fees and taxes.
