I'm surprised no one has said this, so I will. It's just not worth it. The only way I would even consider a swap like this is if I was building a huge show truck and was doing a solid axle conversion. If you are talking about doing a straight out oem type conversion, it would be easier and cheaper to sell your 4x2 Expy and buy a 4x4.

thanks for the reply and yes i have been told numerous times but i have had the truck for too long and she's just been too good to me and it is going to be built as a put in the garage and make a show truck type of thing, my other question is if i bought a 4x4 expedition is it possible to do a body swap?

you could do a body swap but why are you wanting YOUR body rather than the one on the truck? do you have stuff done to it? if its going to be a show truck use yours, do a SAS on the front and add in the needed parts for 4wd.
