rear leaf spring replacement

i want to take out the block in the rear and just put in new leaf springs. Ive found deaver replacement springs that would work but was wondering if anyone knew of any other options that may be cheaper. ive tried looking around and cant really find anything

I have the Explorer Pro Comp Add-A-Leaf. I works just fine. Not much can go wrong with it if installed properly. Just shop it around. You'll find them for different prices.

But I think what you have in mind is a Deaver Suspension.

yeah thats what i was thinking of.

i already have the skyjacker aal but im not really that satisfied with it. the ride is a little rougher and the squeaks when i go over bumps slowly. i was thinking of completely replacing the stock leafs for something new and not using a block either

To my knowledge deaver does not make a stock replacement, just the 4" leaf packs. Your going to be looking at custom for them to make a stock replacement. I have the deavers, but in a 6" leaf pack with a 4" block. You will still get some sqeek over time, ride is smoother but you lose some payload/towing ability because they are so soft. Paired with my bilstein 5125's the ride is excellent. Next spring i look forward to trying them out with some custom valved piggyback kings.
