Rear bilstein shocks for the rear????

I was reading on the bilstein site that the rear 5100 shocks give 0-1" of lift in the rear. So if I replace the double stack pro comp blocks (4.5) to a 5.5 inch block and get the bilstein rear shocks and put it to 1" will this give me two inches in the rear to match the 2" for the bilstein 5100 shocks that I plan on putting in the front. Does the rear shocks work that way? Thanks.

i just installed the 5100 rear shocks yesterday, I have an 05, The rear shocks did not have any type of adjustment. The box said 2 inch lift rears,, Iwas keeping mine stock so i called bilstein to find out if i had the right shock.. They told me the 5100 rear shocks dont have an adjustment, just extra travel .. btw I didn,t realize how bad my rear shocks were until i put the new ones on , the truck rides like new.

Without replacing or adjusting the springs, shocks alone of any kind, adjustable or not, won't provide additional rear lift...I bet the site meant to say they were the right size for 0-1" of lift in the rear.

But on any car, springs set the ride height, not the shocks.
