I need some clarity

I know I'm beating a dead horse but after hours of searching I still don't have any clear answers.

Im trying to lift my truck some...not much. Its a '99 2wd. I don't want a big suspension lift, just want a couple inches and 33's. Here's what I need to know.

1. How much can I lift the front end with the use of spacers/longer coils without putting too much stress on my ball joints etc...?

2. If I do lift the front end with the use of spacers/longer coils, do I need to buy longer shocks or will the 2wd ones work because I'm swapping them out at the same time.

3. In the rear end, what would be a better option, 2" lift shackles or a block lift?

I know the easiest way would be to put a coil spacer up front and put a 3" body lift but I'm not a huge fan of body lifts on stock trucks plus I'm trying to get more ground clearance overall.

You can lift the front up to 2 inches with spacers or lift coils. Any taller and you will have to add longer upper control arms to get the alignment in specs. Out back, I'd use a lift block.

do a 2" spindle lift to keep from stressing the front end parts. and 2" block out back and you will keep factory ride quality, just be 2" higher

I agree with Wandell. 2" spacer kit with a bigger rear block.

3" spindle on front, 2" block in rear. You only need new shocks for the rear. Same ride as stock, no alignment problems. I ran it on my old truck with 285-75-16's (basically a 33x10.50) on stock wheels with no problems. (99 2wd)
