Very nice CH2500. I checked out all the pics in your gallery as well. Nice change.

Nice truck!
adfox77, yours looks great as well!
Can I assume that the 305's do not rub at full steering lock?
I'm having a hard time deciding between 35x12.50's and 305's after installing the 5100's. If they both rub I'm doing 35's for sure
If the 305's don't, I may go with them.

Sorry, I don't take many pics of my truck, but I can heartily reccomend these shocks! I put them on with the 2" setting. I'd recommend taking the fronts off yourself and having a tire shop switch the spring onto the new strut. Shouldn't cost very much at all. The backs are like a 5 minute job. Be careful not to damage the cv-boots when you remove the fronts. I gouged a boot and had to replace the cv shaft.

Thanks for the info... My buddy is a mechanic and was allowed to use his tools ans the dealers lift on Saturdays. But the new management put a stop to it, so I am out of free labor.. LoL I might take a weekend and tear them out myself, this way he can sneak them in for the swap. I was thinking of doing the 1" setting though.. I have 34" tires. What size tires do you have?

I have a fabtech six but the fabtech shocks suck, so I put the 5100 on and new oem leafs. Old ones were worn out. Doing all that acutally gave me another 1" in the back.

Okay somebody needs to answer that previous question about whether their 35x12.50's rub because TODAY IS PAY DAY B*TCHES! And ever since I found this dam* website all I want to do is do more mods to my truck. I've always been a Ford guy, but it's crazy what some guys can do to their trucks and still represent the Blue oval all over their truck

So at full lock do the 35x12.5's rub????

or

Just go with a 305's and have no rubbing issues.

By the way. I just called my local go to guy for parts and such and he said $220 for both front shocks(5100's) and $65 bucks to install? sound good or bad to you guys?

$65 to install is dirt cheap. You better remind your "go to guy" that you have the newer F150 with coil overs for the fronts. He may change his tune on labour. The fronts will take several hours with the spring compressor and all.

I told him it's a 2005 F150 supercrew 4x4 so he should have calculated it right. He's a younger guy in his early 30's, he should know what he's talking about....I'm hoping. He's got a sick *** dodge 1500 with a 4.5" lift that he did all himself so I trust him.

Thanks for all the compliments! I think it turned out great.

Brian to answer your question - I have zero rubbing at full steering lock and I did not have to do any trimming.

CH2500, that is one of the best looking trucks on the site in my opinion.

Formula, why did you spend the money to replace the stock leaves and leave the blocks in the back instead of just buying lift springs?
