Wheel Hop

Does anybody know how to get rid of the wheel hop during first, i launch my truck at the track and it just seems to hop for a couple feet?

do you have rear blocks? if so, the BEST thing to do is remove them, and get larger springs. And, traction bars will help also.

I build racecars for a living, and like he said get rid of those blocks and stiffer springs.w/traction bars and the right tire, it sound "HOOK IN RAIN"

Installing traction bars on your ride can help solve the problem.

Check the alignment between the trans tail shaft, and the pinion shaft, or better yet take it to a drive line shop and have them do it. This one cause of hop if the alignment is off from changing vehicle height. No, the shims are not accurate enough.
Then go to traction bars to complete the fix.
